I retired from a successful 35-year career in university settings. I was recognized for my teaching, research, and publications. Over time I realized that it was time for something new. I read many books on personal and career transition and decided that instead of reading about other people's experiences, I wanted to create change for myself. I wanted a new career that builds on my existing skills and that would allow me to focus on the work I am best at, that is, connecting with people. I realized that much of my work with students involved helping them believe in themselves and to make their dreams a reality.
I studied to become a life coach. Now I can extend my best skills to support you in your own dreams for career and life transitions.
I understand what it is like to have a solid career only to learn that what worked well for you is no longer what you want. Maybe you are bored and looking for new adventures. You may have realized what you envisioned for your future is no longer desirable because you've changed. You family life may require change or it may be due to changes in the expectations or conditions of your work.
